Lemonade

Our baby is the size of a lemon!

I love being pregnant, it has been really fun especially since we've told people. Its always the topic of conversation at church, home and work. I love baby talk! We didn't tell our families until I was about 10 weeks, so that made everything go a little faster for me in the yucky stages. Thankfully I haven't been that sick, Ive felt gross but have still been able to function well and work. Finally now I'm starting to show and it feels more real! We get to find out the gender this Tuesday too which I cant wait for. I'm expecting then that Kc and I will feel more connected with the baby. Normally people have a feeling about what gender the baby is from dreams or from mothers intuition. I have none of that! No idea what this baby is! It will be a total surprise for both KC and I. Its funny because Ive heard of expectant mothers wanting to read books on end about mothering and such. I thought I would be like that, and I am somewhat. I was reminded of the talk by Julie B Beck titled "Mothers Who Know."  After reading this I've had this spurt of energy to prepare myself for motherhood. It is fabulous! It brought me back to what my purpose is as a mother, and what is expected of me in this life.
We are so excited! Baby will be arriving some perfect day around February 4th at some wonderful hospital in London. We couldn't be more thrilled for this adventure.
