This weekend we were so fortunate! As most of you know KC and I have been looking into the housing market since last summer and are loving learning about it and putting offers on houses etc. In addition to this, I have been LOVING looking at home decorating websites, magazines and all those fun things to get ideas. KC is even starting to have an opinion of paint colors and styles of decor we want! I have taught him well, and he has taught me to be more thrifty! This weekend we got two awesome little cabinets that I am stoked about painting! OH and we also got a christmas tree, it was a screaming deal so we had to get it! BUT i wont put it up until thanksgiving is over. k here is my little soap box... I have this issue with decorating before the turkey has been eaten. I feel like thanksgiving gets jipped. It's like no one is even thankful for THANKSgiving day! some people think its a bit too "Grinchy." don't get me wrong, I love christmas music and would love to listen to it all year long and sometimes I let one or two days slip, but saving "jingle bells" for when the season calls for it just keeps it that much more special! Regarding the comic...chrstmas steals turkey's thunder!
